Facebook Messenger is now available for Windows users. You can now chat with Facebook messenger as you did with Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail messenger . How to know whether the device has Facebook Chat Installed over or not.

It is really simple to identify whether the laptop/desktop has the application installed over or not. Login to Facebook, then look at the lower right corner of the chat window where you will see the following notification if messenger has not been installed yet.

Apart from this, if the computer has the Facebook Chat Messenger installed, then the following type of icon appears in taskbar.

How to Download and Install Facebook Window Messenger?

Before you can jump into the installation process, download is compulsory. In order to download the Facebook Window Messenger, visit https://www.facebook.com/about/messenger and click the option Install Messenger (requires Facebook Login). Stay calm for a while, let the file named FacebookMessenger.exe download properly. While you are about to download the file you will also find the installation guide as shown below

When the file gets downloaded successfully click the file, then Run it.
